TNFD Reporting
Comprehensive Taskforce on Nature-related Financial
Disclosures implementation for enhanced biodiversity and nature risk management.
What is TNFD?
The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) provides a framework for organizations to report and act on nature-related risks and opportunities. Modeled after the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures), the TNFD focuses on how organizations impact and depend on nature, and the associated risks and opportunities.
The TNFD framework is designed to support a shift in global financial flows away from nature-negative outcomes toward nature-positive outcomes. It helps organizations understand their nature-related dependencies and impacts, assess related risks and opportunities, and respond through strategic planning and asset allocation.
